Gonca Katmer
Architect
She was born in Bursa in 1998, she began her primary education in Bursa. She completed her high school education at Bursa Erkek Anatolian High School and Birey Anatolian High School.
In 2021, she graduated from Faculty of Architecture at Izmir Institute of Technology with high honours. Then she started her master’s degree at Izmir Institute of Technology in the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage in 2021. She started working as an architect at TARKEM in December 2022. Alongside her professional career, she continues her master’s degree education and continues to work on her thesis research.
She aims to continue her education and professional career with a focus on bringing a new perspective to cultural heritage, giving it appropriate functions for utilization, and ensuring its transfer to the future.
